 2008 All-Time Draft

The annual collegiate draft is the NFL’s great leveller, the mechanism by which the last can be first and the first can be last in America’s greatest sports league. We all know what happened in this year’s 2008 selection meeting Jake Long here, Chris Long there, and so on but imagine if your favourite NFL team could take part in another, one-off supplemental draft that would let them pick any player from their past to plug into their current roster.
Think of it we might see Peyton Manning throwing to Raymond Berry, Joe Thomas lead blocking for Jim Brown, or Lee Roy Selmon bookending Gaines Adams. Nope, you haven’t accidentally ventured into Hall of Fame mode on Madden ’08, you have in fact entered:
